Australian grown Sencha Green Tea brings together Australian Native Lemon Myrtle and Lemongrass to provide you with a unique and refreshing cup of tea.
Grown in Australia using only the best leaves and traditional steaming and rolling techniques. Sencha tea is a thirst-quenching tea with its own flavours and aroma.
Here at The Tea Chest our teas are all hand blended made in small batches, packaged in heat sealed foil lined bags with tear off resealable zip lock enclosure to help maintain freshness. Blended and packaged in the rainforest surrounds of Far North Queensland.

Lemon Myrtle Benefits: Lemon myrtle is reported to have anti-fungal, anti-viral and calmative qualities. Indigenous Australians have long used Lemon Myrtle as a healing plant flavouring food. Australian Native Lemon Myrtle; often described as a combination of lemon, lime and lemongrass. Lemon Myrtle has a desirably fresh fragrance.

To Serve: Heat 250mls of water to 70-80 degrees. Add 2 teaspoons of tea and allow to infuse for 90 seconds, to give a light yellow-green liquor. Can be infused 2 or 3 times. Can also be consumes chilled on a hot summer’s day.
